I'm grateful for all of the responses. But this is happening to thousands of women, cis and trans, up and down the country. Every day. The only difference is she and I have a voice.

Fuck all of those, especially the institutions, who didn't do the work before piling in on 'the transgender issue.'

Last year my wife had breast cancer and a double mastectomy.

This morning, for the first time ever, she was challenged in the changing rooms at the swimming pool. Her breasts were not what make her a woman - but, breasts or not, she is entitled to dignity and protection from vigilantes.

To be fair, he's always been forthcoming about which side he's on.

This is just the start. It won't end with just trans people.

Throwing trans people with gender recognition certificates, who've been quietly living as their authentic selves for decades, under a bus. Segregating them, like in the pre Civil Rights racist USA, dangerously outing them whenever they need to use the toilet or have to go in to hospital.

The way the Labour Government have behaved, just weeks after confiming their manifesto promise to improve things for trans people in the UK, is deeply shameful, with zero ethics, morality or backbone.

I wasn't going to speak about this. But I changed my mind.

This week I've been managing personal harassment on X. And I don't even use the platform. This harassment was then amplified by the Daily Mail.
