16.01.2026 19:03 β π 25 π 5 π¬ 2 π 1I think your design is a great example of what I've been calling the "dumb server pattern" (for lack of a better term): commodify the parts that need to be high-avail, making them interchangable, then put all the business logic in the client.
Super exciting stuff, will follow closely!

firefox has degraded to the point of being unreliable for me π It's been my main browser for years, but with the recent defaulting to DNS over HTTPS everything is just broken & sad & makes me stop to double check if it's my internet connection or just firefox.

I hope this works out because the idea is really really cool

For me it's curse words all day long.
wat @iroh.computer using media-over-quic doing video and audio calls??!!! github.com/n0-computer/...

Ufotofu is a Rust crate for working with streams and sinks which we developed for our Willow Rust work, based on βStrict Principles for Lazy Sequencesβ (aljoscha-meyer.de/assets/landi...). Also when the webpage scrolls it looks like a UFO is beaming stuff up.
dark thought: maybe people will one day farm & sell LLM contexts the same way people do video game characters

seriously, why on earth can't I dismiss this message?
Twitter dying I can live with. The enshitification of githubβhowever-is a material problem.

29.10.2025 13:30 β π 39 π 5 π¬ 1 π 0Yep yep yep π―, i like the active vs passive language.
In security circles βtrust on first useβ is seen as a very bad thing, but strikes me as exactly the right thing here: spend as little of the userβs active trust as possible: by delegating to a secure, passive, zero trust protocol
Itβs a tragedy of the name. Zero trust is a means of strengthening bonds between people: it maintains human expectations about computer behavior
