Doesn't look like much, but this is the first mockup of the Froggy Finance game board!

Was actually able to fold it into a comfy 8.5" square, meaning that a small box game is still achievable! While not as small as I hoped, it allows me to add all the froggy business flair that it needs. 🐸 🎲✂️

So I'm on the hunt for an artist for next year's Zine Quest 👀

Wish I got to add more this week but at least we now have a nifty little bar at the bottom of the screen that shows your song progress.

Finally adding customizable keybinds to my game which I should have learned how to do a while ago.

I feel like not many rhythm games let you do it, but now everyone gets to make their own control scheme, no matter how terrible it is.

A friend suggested I try adding candlelight for the nighttime scenes.

I spent about a day and a half trying a few methods out, and settled on a simple toon-style binary shader. It accounts for shadows too!

Oh wait, I was supposed to be writing dialogue....

recent-ish feature: the dead city sprawl is all smoggy and polluted now. we got this in a few weeks ago and i still love it. a+ feature.
