I've always found the material editor to be a bit annoying to use in UE compared to just writing in glsl or similar, but the ability to preview nodes does make it a lot easier to understand and tweak materials others have made.

Yeah I did the same thing in rdr2 and it was super nice!

I don't use fast travel. Finished both TotK and BotW without using it. It makes all distance traveled more meaningful, and you have to plan where to go more diligently.
