@handsoffnyc.bsky.social held an at-capacity training today for nearly 1,000 New Yorkers, covering Know Your Rights, ICE Watch, and organizing & mobilizing strategies. Then, they connected everyone to local neighborhood groups so they can work together to protect their neighbors. We’re going to win.

North Texas voters to fill vacant Texas Senate seat Democrat Taylor Rehmet had an unexpectedly strong performance in the November special election to win the solidly red seat. He faces Republican Leigh Wambsganss in the runoff.

This TX Senate district is far from my home, so I have no direct experience with this race. But many eyes are on it—a Rehmet win would surely make the TX Republican party shit their pants. A close race would still scare them.😈
