It’s good! They keep it pretty simple, not really heavy with the seasonings but it’s delicious and fresh. Pastries are yummm! Excellent wine and it’s cheap! Plus good food from other cultures is available too, not hard to find at all.

You’d want to try and find one outside of the bigger cities because they’re more expensive and harder to find. With the influx of immigrants like us, it’s driving up rent prices. But you can find reasonable rent.

Now it ain’t perfect. But no place is. Bureaucracy is kinda a pain. And it’s a different culture—which I find I can and want to adapt to. There’s a lot of us (Americans and black folx) here now too. So you can almost stick with Americans if you choose to.

It’s just lovely here. It’s peaceful and safe compared to the U.S.—something like the 7th safest country in the world. Food and healthcare prices are reasonable af. Food isn’t poisonous here btw lol! People in my experience are kind and helpful. Plus it’s beautiful!

I felt the same way. But the stevia on grocery shelves is cheap sh*t and tastes like trash bc they use the bitter part of the plant to make it. I cut out sugar in 2017 and now use stevia (and/or erythritol)—but I buy it online. It’s expensive af tbh. But the taste is worth it to me.
