If anyone’s been on the fence about picking up a copy: I’ve used excerpts from Because Internet in my teaching (VCE English Language, basically a proto-linguistics course) for years now — if this book can engage high schoolers, it can certainly engage you, dear reader! Highly, highly recommend.
