Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the gravest public health threats confronting the world.
AMR will cause 39 million deaths by 2050.
This is a direct threat to the UK that demands urgent action, not short-sighted funding cuts.

My interview with BBC News, exposing the scandal of asylum contracts, written under the Tories, which enabled private providers to make 8x more profit by keeping asylum applicants in hotels.
A shocking waste of taxpayer money.
The βEd Davey is obsessed with Farageβ takes are weird.
A) The media is obsessed with Farage
B) If the next election looks anything like the polling, it will basically be a progressive/populist bloc election. Labour wonβt be Daveyβs enemy. Theyβll be his path to govern.

Today, I presented my Road Traffic (Horse & Rider Safety) Bill.
This Presentation Bill would establish clearer rules for passing horses, incorporate equestrian safety into driving tests, & improve driver education. Change is needed. #HorseSafety

The BBC are constantly fawning over Farage's every move despite Reform only having four MPs. Our national broadcaster should reflect the whole country, not just one manβs ego.

As we've seen across history, the populist playbook used by Farage is ugly, powerful and incredibly destructive.
We know where it will lead if we don't stop it.
Reform UK, which has a grand total of four MPs, was just given an uninterrupted platform for an hour and a half on the BBC and Sky News channels, in order to talk about its plans for mass deportations
When was the last time the Greens (with four MPs) or the Lib Dems (with 72) were given the same?

People arenβt seeing the benefit of renewables because electricity prices are still tied to gas. That means higher bills for everyone, even though more of our power comes from cheaper renewables.
We must break that link to cut energy bills for everyone.
Andrew Marr writes of the state of British politics that, "beyond Westminster, a far bigger story continues to grow". Yet I was surprised to see that his account of that story leaves out the party that finished second in both of the last two rounds of council elections, that has control of more councils than either Reform or the Conservatives, and is the only party that consistently goes head-to-head with Reform in council by-elections and beats it. And in Westminster too, it is the party with 18 MPs for every 1 MP that Reform has. Perhaps next time, his picture of British politics should include the Liberal Democrats?

I fear they're becoming a mouthpiece for Nigel Farage, a guy who wants to destroy them.
