I was able to load in data taken from past wood firings and load them into Claude and ChatGPT. I asked them to look over the data and help me to code an app for wood firings. You can play with it here to see. I'm testing things out some.

Yeah one thing I need to try is the shrink rate calculator and the lid remake section. The clay I have now is 14% shrink fired to cone 6. I added the gallery height to the calculator.

Yeah my big test will be to try it at a wood firing and build the firing on the app and then use firing data and time and wood used to add in real numbers. I could help working out individual cost per person who fire with me.

Ohhh I see yeah all of that gets added on the more advanced tab. I just added a kiln load estimator. So you can add pots to shelves as you load. Or take them out.

Here 5 hours for a doughnut vase is with you getting paid for the 5 hours. Throwing time for others may only be 8 min or less. They can be times fron a yourube video demo.

Yes! I developed it. It will take more time to dial thibgs in as I use it and work things out. But even a little off is better then guessing i would hope. 🤗

Worked on the wood kiln today and was able to get a lot of work done. Went to see Mom yesterday to take her a card and some lilacs off our bush. She was alert enough to sing along when I played the old-time gospel hymns she loves on her guitar. Hope you all had a happy Mother’s Day!
