The deception exhibited here should be plain to see and alarming to all. Most have seen Fox mislead their viewers via loaded questions, insinuations and lying by omission, but here we see proof that Fox is willing to deliberately trick its viewers into false interpretations of real news stories

3. The wording here is crucial: "... prepare for 'violence', that was the directive back in July."

The word 'directive' is extremely deliberate: remember the narrative he's built is that there are sinister figures at the top of anti-ICE groups, passing down "orders" to people like Renee Good

1. The quotes displayed on screen are deliberately stripped of any context that would indicate the source of each quote

2. The entire narrative up until to this moment has been that Democratic politicians are intentionally radicalizing their base into committing acts of violence

If you watch the video of Jesse reading these quotes, you can see his words are carefully chosen to avoid a lawsuit. He reads each quote as "The base said ..."

But make no mistake, this is just the show's writers covering themselves legally. They had full intention of misleading their viewers

A casual Fox viewer is likely to assume the above quotes are from Democratic politicians, telling their constituents to commit acts of violence. In fact, the entire segment up to this moment is designed to cultivate this assumption. But they're not.

Step 7: Back up your claim that "Democrats have wanted something like this to happen" with an Axios article. On screen:

Democrats told to "get shot" for the anti-Trump resistance

"Civility isn't working" and to prepare for "violence"

Step 6: Pepper into another JD Vance clip to further the idea that there are highly organized groups of anti-ICE activists, with orders coming in from some higher chain of command.

The clear implication for the viewer at this point is that these "orders" are coming from Democratic politicians
