Yes, it is safe. One of the common memory safety vulnerability is use-after-free. You can't have it if you never free just leak all the memory.

Rust normies have 0 clue what they are yapping about. They only heard that "memory leak bad" and "Rust everything good" and automatically think that Rust somehow prevent memory leaks, while according to Rust itself memory leak is a completely memory safe operation. :)
