My buddy says I’m crazy, but when I hear the Limsa Lominsa day town theme in Final Fantasy XIV, I hear the How to Train Your Dragon theme.

When I first played it, it was interesting to discover just how “western” it felt, like with your traditional elf/dwarf callout. Just wasn’t expecting it!

The folder structure I was using of my game backup just isn’t working even with the folder renaming advice I read. But I discovered that apparently an ISO format of the game backup has better compatibility so we’re currently translating to that format, which will take some time. Stay tuned.

Oh don’t worry about that at all! I have done so much research on the game that I’m not so concerned with spoilers. All the cool info you post is worth anything I might learn about the story out of context.

I need to finish the game so I can finish their analysis 😓 And because it’s been fantastic so far

Hoping to have the game up and running in the next 20 mins, and it’s the first thing I’ll do!

I think it’s the first time you control Hope, turn around and run the opposite way of the goal, all the way to the end, and there is an NPC staring off the side of the highway quoting a reference to the litany. Super minor, but as a Dune fan I thought it was really cool.

I miss the 3DS!

We’re in the last step, and if everything goes correctly, I’m off to the races having FFXIII on my PS3 with the bad disc drive. Send me good Lightning vibes

Any time is perfect, but yes this is fantastic as a ton of other people are getting in now. I’m just happy more people are able to experience it now.

Playing FFXIII the other day and for the first time ever, I found the Dune “Litany Against Fear” Easter egg in one of the opening areas. I Googled to see if anyone had a screenshot or post about it but didn’t find anything. I’ll start a new file to snag a shot of it. Has anyone on here seen it?
