Blue Lake is one of my favorite lakes in the Eastern Sierra, and in California overall. Too bad there is a lake named Dingleberry right nearby 😁.

There are some obscure laws that they are reviewing, there may be a path, but it's still unclear if they can find a way.

Ouch! Hope it all works out as fast as possible.

Problem is that it goes directly from taxpayers to the Federal government. Some states are trying to figure out how they can impound that and control delivery, but I haven't seen any of them conclude that process yet.

Should be great with the cherry blossoms! My next trip there will be during that season.

Genoa is such a picturesque town, so well captured here! There are a series of really nice trails in the hills behind it, and I've even hiked them in the heart of winter during low snowfall years at Tahoe.

I haven't posted a photo of our young lady for awhile, but this is sort of how I feel after just having finished a few months of some pretty lengthy travels. Nice to be home again in northern California, and ready to take it easy a bit before rejoining life's rich pageant.

More beautiful scenes! I've got a soft spot for that place, because I took both my first trip to Europe, and later our honeymoon, focused on Lake Como and other northern Italian destinations. The inexpensive and regular ferries are such a good way to see different parts of the lake too.

This was a scene that really spoke to me in the vicinity of the Yamagata Temple grounds in #Kyoto, #Japan because of its transitions: from historic buildings to skyscrapers, from forest to concrete, from hillsides to flatlands, and from day towards dusk.
