yup. The misinformation might have been excusable 30-40 years ago, but with the internet, we all have easy access to science and research and reality. Now, the ignorance is deliberate.

My mom didn't like crafting at all. She learned to sew because she had to (a kid in the Depression, orphaned, etc). My dad did ALL the crafts and always encouraged me to try new things.πŸ’™

My dad's parents were born at the end of the 1800's. My dad was 1920's. I was late 60's. My kids in the 2000's. It's wild to think about. My dad's family is crafty. Fiber craft, wood craft, painting, model trains, even mechanical work is all hand's-on. etc. I guess it's in the genes. 😊

unfortunately true. We were just talking about the "Autism Speaks" org and looked up an old TV ad they did that practically equated autism to demon possession. It was horrible.

I was maybe 7-8 years old when I started making up designs with my mom's sewing thread. She didn't use it, yet got mad that I did😜 My dad bought me books with embroidery stitches. His parents embroidered and I still have some of their work inc. a cardinal picture which is abt 100yo now😯

Here’s the difference:

Democrats have been showing up to work.

Republicans have been on vacation.

How can we not? EVERYTHING that goes into the brain, becomes part of what I must write about, somehow. πŸ˜„Even if it's not biographical, it all becomes a part of my thoughts and inspiration. I'm a storyteller and creator. I can't help it. πŸ’™

The only image a neighbor was able to get of the 'lost puppy' in our neighborhood. We do not have feral dogs in this area. Some pets get lost obviously, but people are on top of that. The only canines we regularly see 'loose' are coyotes and fox.

We have a neighborhood chat forum and lately the topic is a 'lost puppy'. We're only catching glimpses of it, but while I joked about a feral Corgi I'm thinking we have a coyote pup (or 2 or 3) roaming about. We have a large pack (Eastern Coyote) in this area, and the pups leave their mom in Fall.

I need to do more cross-stitch. I used to do this more than crochet and then I put it away when the kids came. Not sure why I haven't picked it up again? I like kits, I also enjoy making my own designs. Freestyling random embroidery is fun too. Stealing mom's thread for it was my first fiber craft.πŸ˜†

This is so horrible to even contemplate, I can't imagine doing this to someone I love, especially not my children. Hell, I'd be guilty of serious crimes if this had been done to my kids against my will.

I think the better question would have been:

"Pamela Jo, as a fellow taker of bribes, in your case from Donald Trump to shut down your Florida AG investigation of Trump University's consumer fraud, did you approve the shutting down of the bribery investigation into Homan?"

It's rough when it's hard to read the fine print in games. I get it that not everything can be accessible. They often try, but it is what it is. Still, it's rough. I did only a little bit of writing last night, but I'm progressing. I am very happy with the outline I did for this novel. It works.

Those are so cute! I considered a pair for my 5gal tank. My daughter has kept them in her 20gal. I think these were some that recommended more animals than would be comfortable in a small tank, though. I love my daughter's full-size corys and was happy to find the dwarf ones. And I love the shrimp!

Should we do a raffle to see where they will deploy next? No prize, just 'I told you so' rights.
- Atlanta?
- back to DC or Baltimore? (trump does not like Gov Moore)
- Puerto Rico?
