Mood: I am very much enjoying the outlining and other writing prep of my current project. I'm loving the story, and I'd love to share the fun, but how does one babble excitedly about a novel in progress, without spoilers?!? 🤨 Anyway... Yay! My book is booking along in a most pleasurable booky way.😄

This little girl ran outside today. Our cats are indoor cats and she knows it! But I was coming in with both hands full and she deliberately ran out the door. Three of us were outside and she decided was allowed too. She ran under my car and rolled in the dust, purring and so proud of herself! 😄

So cool! I know we have them around us. I've heard them at night close to the house, and seen them on a friend's trail cam, but I've never seen them in the wild. Good for you for protecting the little dude!

She was in a mood! We were trying to get a mat out of Pumpkin's fur. He's old and can't bathe well, but he HATES to be brushed. sigh. We mostly keep ahead of him, but he snuck this knot in. Ninja was jealous of the attention. Pumpkin hated it, Beep wanted in, Ninja didn't want to share... Cats.

True, one is for raw energy, the other for mechanical energy. We can still use turbine energy to 'mill' flour 🤔 but that activity is generally several steps/tools removed from the device!😄 tbh, I usually think of the collective 'wind farms' so I will mix the terms turbine/mill for lack of practice.

It took a while for me to think to use it, but Google is right there on the phone 🤔🤷‍♀️😄 If I'm waiting in line and something occurs to me, I have a place for it. This is another reason why I like to outline; my place for random thoughts is already set up. I've got 'notes', or proper chapter headers.

Inspiration happens at the funniest times 😄 I have Google Docs on my phone so I can take random notes about things no matter where I am when the ideas strike.

That too. We need oversight. And not attacking all homeschoolers (many are awesome) but we need more oversight to prevent 'unschooling' as well. This is an investment in our nation's future and goes beyond parental rights. Freedumb isn't free. Illiteracy and ignorance will cost us down the line. 😕

Traders could have easily brought the fruit to markets in Europe. The small, hard limes/lemons stand up to rough handling and can be pickled (I don't know if it was a thing then). As for only the wealthy, I'm no expert, but wasn't fresh fruit seen as low-class? Maybe more regular folk had them?

I agree with this. I also believe any religious school that preaches against science in favor of 'belief' and 'miracles' should not receive a single penny of taxpayers' dollars. Publicly funded schools are supposed to be an investment in the public's future, not spent on religious indoctrination.
