Just rewatched Solo. Hated it first time round, enjoyed it more this time. Especially the more Space Opera elements and any scene with Woody. #MovieSky #FilmSky #ScienceFiction #Starwars

Netflix has some Korean Stuff like Kingdom which is amazing but I watch most of it with a friend who buys a lot of the blu rays from Germany, HK, and Korea. Unfortunately isn't the easiest to get hold of, but we'll worth it. If you ever need recommendations let me know.

Really enjoyed No Other Choice. Park's always been a fantastic film maker but this might be his most confident movie yet. Dark, Nasty, fun, and stuffed full of subtext about society and the film industry. So much going on underneath. #FilmSky #MovieSky #NoOtherChoice #worldcinema

Engage with your readers either through social media or a newsletter. Get them excited about your next book and make them feel like a part of your current work. They in turn will more likely recommend you without even being asked. Don't treat it like a transaction, but it could become one.

Awesome. That's great. Sounds like it's going well for you :) This next book will be my 14th book in total, and have written plenty of film scripts too but haven't had much made.

This is my first as a Sci Fi writer, but I've written plenty in the past.

I think local writing groups are a good place to start. Just being able to chat in person to other authors and see their approach. Too many online services are focused on money rather than healthy interaction.

I write Science Fiction. Have my first book coming out in a couple of weeks. You?

Love writing on my Kindle Scribe. Easier than typing, and less to carry around than multiple notepads. Definitely feel it's improving my work flow and note making. I wish they weren't so expensive, but they are useful. #WritingCommunity

Standalone. But I read and write plenty of series too.

Have always preferred paperbacks, but they do damage and bend too easily in my bag.

Good name for a book. So simple, but very effective.

Every day is one step further from that and I don't like it.

Been playing #FinalFantasy7 on Switch 2. Looks absolutely gorgeous. Might have to pick it up at some point, although I want the new #DragonQuest first.

I adore the first two movies, and like the third. While the first two are absolutely beautiful in every way, the third kinda plays like a horror movie in my mind lol.

I'm about half way through the 1st draft of my next book. It reads very rough at the moment, but happy with how the story is shaping up. Should be a fun 2nd draft tidying everything up later.

Anyone caught My Daughter is a Zombie yet? Another fantastic film from Korea (best cinema in the world at the moment) It's funny, charming, and full of so much heart. #Film #KoreanCinema #Filmsky

One of my favourite Korean movies. Incredible performances by everyone. Flawless directing. Amazing tension. One of the best crafted horror movies of all time.

Had a nice productive morning sitting in Costa Coffee writing another chapter of my second book. Now back home to read for a little before maybe writing some more this afternoon. #WritingCommunity

My hope there would be that a book is a bigger more personal time commitment than watching the latest Marvel Movie. Modern Hollywood is designed for background noise and streaming, a book you still have to pay attention too and therefore would probably want something more engaging.

I'm looking for some self published Sci Fi Novellas to read and review for my site as a break from the golden era classics. Any suggestions? (preferably under 200 pages)

I think it might, but then they'll discover there's something better the way my generation did with older movies and music. Unless AI can grow a heart and soul it can never write anything meaningful. In its current state it's a glorified search engine. People will tire of reading the same stories.

Unfortunately it's kinda what we do now. The Internet itself could be a fantastic source of all information instead we use it for hate and misinformation. AI will take the same path. Like you said, it could be a priceless tool, but it's already being abused and its only just began.

A.I in literature is just the latest of many get rich quick schemes. It will have its moment and then slowly fade because people will want to read something unique and interesting rather than reguritated. It's going to be a short term nuisance, but can never replace real writing.

Exactly. Have never read at my desk either. Have found it important in recent years to seperate things. Helps slow the days down a little to have a seperate space for writing, reading and relaxing.
