When I get into the housing program I'll have secure housing for the first time in years. I'll finally feel safe to start medically transitioning. Something I'm terrified to start while there's a chance of me becoming homeless again.

Another reason I really want get in ASAP.

I've no interest in ever playing Zenless Zone Zero. It's a gacha game. On the other hand I do like the character designs and videos they put out.

Realized today I accidentally put the 1 hour version of the Burnice song in the Robotropolis playlist. I have since replaced it with the regular version.

Seriously, my housemates turn the stove and oven on, even though the landlord always tells them to turn it all off because it's a fire hazard to leave it running like that. The house's actual heating works fine. Other than one day shortly after I moved in when the heat went out, it's been fine.

Barely functional again today. Every time I wake up I'm exhausted and just want to go back to sleep. I think part of it is how hot the apartment has been.

I always feel extremely pleased with myself when I figure out how to fix or do something that is way outside my wheelhouse, but also extremely silly for asking the friend for help with it then going on and fixing it on my own.

Every so often I'll ask a friend for help with something complicated or technical. Then, while waiting for them to respond I'll open up the project and have a look at it. Once in a while, I'll notice some important detail that lets me figure out the whole problem and I wind up fixing it myself.

The boss battles in 11 are also more difficult, and more satisfying. It feels like using a boss' weakness in 2 results in killing them in just 2-3 hits. Even when the bosses do a lot of damage to me, the battle is over in seconds so you don't have a chance to feel the tension.

Playing Megaman 2 is really making me appreciate how much longer, and in some cases more difficult, the levels are in Megaman 11. Comparatively, I'm breezing through Megaman 2.

If I were healthy, I would say beating the game in a single sitting would be easy.

I still have two working GBA SPs. I don't play them much, but I always feel happy pulling one out for a few minutes.

When I'm having a depression episode I typically just tell people "I'm not feeling well." Because if I said "I'm depressed" they ask me why or tell me to cheer up. Which makes about as much sense as saying the same to a cancer patient. "I'm not feeling well" conveys that it's a health thing.

Seems I've spent more on food than I'd realized, due to how any groceries I buy here tend to disappear before I can eat them.

Gave my sister a poke about her search for a camper to buy. It could be 6 months or so before I get in the housing program and I don't want to stay here.

Started up Megaman Zero after finishing 11. It's fun, but wasn't scratching the same itch for classic Megaman. So I installed the first Legacy Collection and started playing Megaman 2. I'd completely forgotten about the comfort features like saves and rewind, might go back and replay Megaman 1.

Entrance to the Robotropolis Metro. The giant robot Spica can be seen sitting on top of a pedestrian walkway while an ExDiver sells "Chibi Cola".

The front room of the Robotropolis Net Cafe is where robots who want to go online can park themselves until they return from the net.

The Robotropolis Game Zone arcade is mostly decorative, but there's a few fun games to play including the newest addition, a pinball machine called "Monscaaaat". It has an adorable monster cat.

The celebration stage has received some major upgrades. The speakers are now animated and emit musical note particles. There's also more lights and more screens.

I think I first uploaded Robotropolis, the city of #robotgirls in 2024. It's grown quite a bit in the past year or two. Over 60 NPCs, plenty of dialog and lore, and plenty of visual spectacle. It's slowly become, by far, my biggest #VRChat project.
