alternately, the more "expensive" way is to put contacts on your feet, receivers on a fake floor plane, and when your feet animate into the ground and fire off the receiver's action, read that in OSC and fire off some haptics

neither are native, but you _could_ do it. prob a ton easier in resonite

hmmm, a little harder and you'd have to rely on an external application, but you could feed your locomotion vector out of VRC and use an external application to recieve, drive haptics. you'd have to put the pacing into the app though, and you'd have to calibrate for diff world max speeds.

it's pretty easy! If you have a contact receiver on your head, you can set it to accept signals from hands. The contact receiver will drive an animation param, which you can then use to play a sound, fire a particle effect, move bones/physbones, animate a shader, etc etc.

Lots of similar interactions exist too - I have a friend whose entire avatar balloons up into a ball when you pull his hoodie drawstrings. All done via shaders and physbones

Between resonite and VRC we're pioneering avatar interactability beyond fist bumps and high fives :D

That's cool! You can do _almost_ all of this in VRC just as easily, minus the affecting someone else's avatar w/o consent. You can set up your own avatar to react in this way

I think it's great that resonite has a community where this kind of mechanic can exist! I dunno if it'd work for us 😅
