My goal of reaching 2,000 miles on my bike for the year is turning out to be wishful thinking because fuck cancer. Chemo and riding are just not compatible. All things considered, though, I'm pretty pleased with getting close.

I agree that listening and reading are quite different experiences. As a writer who thinks words (and grammar) are important, I cringe when someone comes up with an awkward statement like "audiobooks count as reading."
