As far as I know right now, most non-Christian Jewish believers still look forward to a messiah of some sort(lots of varying ideas on that tho), rather then believing the work is finished.

In the Law, God repeatedly told His people that they had to do All of the Law, or the curses/punishment would come upon them.
(i.e. Deut 28:15, Lev 26:14-15)

Yet, because He knew our wayward nature, He also provided a way to be cleansed from sin. (But Obedience is better then Sacrifice).

Actually the Christian one is Both.
