Contrarian probably a better choice there.

"Wanna try some Sarnoki? It's a Greek immigrant dish from Cincinnati."
Way more inviting than
"Want to try some watery cinnamon chili? Don't worry, we put it on top of spaghetti and covered it in a mountain of unmelted cheese, for some reason."

Grew up eating Skyline semi-regularly. Not a personal favorite, but it's far from the abomination it's made out to be. I feel like the dish wouldn't get the rap it has if it had it's own unique name.

Grittier and less predictable EITS was exactly the vibe I got from this record on first listen. This band always delivers.

I can predict what the last word in a couplet will be after hearing the end of his first line, like every damn time. And that's because he doesn't put an ounce of himself into the songs. Zero soul. The songs seem intended not to inspire action, but to let the audience pat themselves on the back.

All Ripley’s bands are A+. Check out Wooden Shjips and Rose City Band if you haven’t already.

It’s the central premise of one of the more well known South Park episodes.

Seems like he’s doing the same things he did well at lower levels. Just finally figuring out how to adapt them to NBA competition.

Incredibly powerful names (and players) in action here. Like a couple of superhero alter egos.

The guy who ran the head shop by my house growing up (Grateful Threads) would make tapes for kids if they brought in blanks. This was the first one he gave me and it’s been in rotation ever since.
