I recently came to terms with the fact that I write in cycles. I go hard on a project for a couple weeks or months, followed by an “unproductive” time. To halt the capitalist shame spiral, I give myself at least 30 mins everyday to journal, space out, read randomly. Spacing out counts as writing!
