It would be so nice to move the anti's to a village that doesn't have one even one store - at least a 40 minute drive to the nearest parade of shops!

How loudly would they complain if housing complexes were built with no thought to shops, restaurants etc?
If one had to always drive at least 40 minutes to get to the nearest store they'd be demanding 15 minute cities.

At that time we all turned into zombies - many don't realize their zombies, it seems to take time for the zombie effect to take place. It's very gradual and can take up to 60 years before the full effect is obvious.

I lived in the UK for many years. Lived in 5 different cities & towns and each one would be considered a 15 minute city. Many of my neighbors didn't have cars (back in the 70's most didn't have home phones either!) so being able to walk to shops was essential!

Here's what I don't get:
Most American homes have multiple guns and they also have laws about protecting ones home (with a gun). So why have the only shootings been ICE shooting people?

In Canada we also have national health coverage for all. It doesn't matter what ones income is they will still receive healthcare.

They count on the uneducated to not understand what an opinion piece is.

The co-pay mentioned is the $1k annual deductible (patient pays the first $1k) & there is a co-pay for operations (between $5k-$10k depending on the op).

When asked which departments/benefits they'd do away with it's always something that person does not use (or need at the present time).
Most also forget everything that is included in our taxes, like fire brigades, water, air & food testing.

IMO the issue was that SNAP payments were being withheld & millions of Americans were facing starvation.
In some ways this is a great wake-up call for MAGA - those that depend on SNAP & now realize the payments will end might just be the turning point.
