However, I still have to take 81mg aspirin tablets daily for the rest of my life (anticoagulant properties).

Forthcoming are a follow-up in November and a blood test in next January, likely to test for more conditions beyond just blood sugars and cholesterol.

More as I get it.

I also have a history of sinus tachycardia, episodes of which apparently don't appear to have any bearing on whether they can trigger a stroke.

All said, there is nothing in my condition at the time that, on their own, could cause a stroke.

One item of note before I retire for the night:

I went to see the doctor about what happened with the cardiac monitor I had in the ensuing weeks after my stroke back in May. The doctor told me that they couldn't find any arrhythmias during this test.

I have to wonder which is deeper, the VTuber rabbit hole or rabbit holes such as this one is turning out to be.

I smell a possible pierce-the-veil action on Ironmouse's part in the offing. It's gonna get ugly.

I managed to finally change my car's engine oil. It was a bit later than I would have liked, but it's at least done.

I just hate being in the sun, but at least I was able to finish the job in the shade.

The practical upshot of which is that if I add text, it adds rendering ON THE FLY AS I TYPE without requiring to re-render the text I'm editing.

This is the kind of quality-of-life changes I like seeing. There are likely so many more, I can't start to enumerate them here.

If I were to open the file in the future, current-past-me would have to make notes, whether in-file or via style notes for any such rendering.

Now, the rendering parameters themselves are now saved in the .XCF as METADATA instead of re-rendering. More to follow.

I use drop-shading a lot in my presentation. In older (2.x) versions of GIMP, any time I would do drop-shading, it would render the text into a graphic. If I wanted to modify the text, I would have to re-render the text's drop-shadowing again.

Been doing some updating work on my long-forthcoming redebut I should have done ages ago. Now that GIMP 3.x is finally in a form I'm happy with, I've been doing some work with, finding some functionality I really like.

It also helps to at the very least also use your own identity on the computer you intend to work the most on. Better still, if feasible, use its ENTIRELY OWN COMPUTER. I use my main machine for other purposes (virtualization, "art", video editing, etc.), so this isn't so easy., but I deal.

Oh yeah, true. While I set up "another" account, that was me going from being a watcher to a VTuber, but if you're talking going from one streamer identity to another at the account level, I haven't had that... experience. Well, just yet, anyway.

Not just normal social accounts, but also "infrastructure" ones, like Google, Microsoft, Steam (I use two here), Itch.io, PayPal, etc. It's coming up on five years here.

Meanwhile, I bought a Cat5 punchdown block so I could make it easier to jack in stuff like computers and gear on the back of my setup while keeping the environs around the front where my switchports on my 1GbE network nice and neat.

I'll have to show some pics when I'm done.

It's bad enough that they intrude on my personal space, which I at least have a modicum of direct control over.
