Okay, took a look on my computer. Large files like this are hard to compress down to 1,000,000 bytes (which bluesky uses). The issue isn't the image size, it's more so the image variety. If you could break it into multiple images, it would compress better.

Ehh... its still got issues. I'll take a look on my PC and try to optimize it further

I think Rust is a useful language to learn, but I don't think it will replace my use of C when I want something to run fast, nor my use of Java when I want to make something quickly. ∎

It's kind of fun to learn I guess? I wrote a single line function that returns the factorial of a number without using recursion or a for loop structure. That was a fun puzzle but I don't know what advantage that has over those. Maybe I'll check out the assembly code later to see the difference. /3

But man, the learning curve is steep and it requires more time to develop in.

It's really well suited for systems programming, and intensive projects that need to work consistently, quickly, and securely. But simple Rust programs are so much more complex than Java and C (my beloved babies). /2
