The Sonoran is unlike any desert, best recognized by the iconic Saguaro.

During summers, I'd drive at sunset into the desert. When the sun fell, the land sprang to life.

In this beauty, you see it's a place like no other. Blanketed under stars, I never wanted to leave.

I adopted a black lab years ago and never looked back. Her name was "Lady Santee." She was the best and truly beautiful. Though a terror at the beach during frisbee tournaments. Even let my littles climb all over her without a peep. She had a big momma heart.

Glad that this was just a small boulder 😅 We had to swerve around one of these "small" boulders as it rolled down a mountain in New Mexico. We were a crew traveling to an arch. site, in a 15 person van. That was a trip to remember - that's for sure!
