These were mushrooms that appeared every year at the last place I lived. They're edible but I wouldn't recommend it. I love mushrooms but these were tasteless, even the small ones.

~ ~ It's very nice here in the Pacific Northwest as well. 50 degrees today and the trees still have their amazing colors. This has been a wonderful year for the trees to turn colors early. The colors are so beautiful.
