Saw the Ai Weiwei exhibit at the SAM today 🔥 very happy I got to see this with one with Gabe. Ai's one of my favorite artists and I've been dying to see one of his shows. Definitely check him out and peep the exhibition if you can. He's one of the most important artists of the modern era imo. 10/10

I need to repair my carving knives tho. Half the handles split or broke on my last carving project (oops). Investing in some nice carving knives (or forging them myself) is something I should do at this point... ✍️

Fuck man wood block printing is so cool and I wanna drop everything to do it but that's the top 1 way to send my half broken hands to the shadow realm. Maybe I bitch out and carve soft wood at first to ease into it at the expense of crummier prints? Or I brute force my way and see what happens? :3

Maybe but the original plans for shin 2 were extremely sketch (mostly rescued footage from older films to cut costs, which wouldn't have done it justice). Anno is the type of guy who has to sit on projects too. I have hope but I can def see the worry esp given how successful and iconic shin 1 was
