At 77, Murakami is still remarkably prolific. He recently finished a new novel, which will be published in Japan this summer and is currently being translated into English.

I liked that new NY Times profile on Haruki Murakami and I did latch on to this particular development. I figured THE CITY AND ITS UNCERTAIN WALLS would be his last due to his age, so I’m glad he still has at least one more in him.
