I'm so afraid my girls will not experience democracy the same way I have. They will not have the same opportunities to show their worth or prove they are the best because our country has fundamentally changed for the worse. I'm marching, protesting, even running for federal office. Still I worry. 🗽

I'm running for congress. I'm running because I don't like the direction our county is headed. I think I can do a better job. It’s that simple.

The maga hat is the new Confederate Flag. Both draw the same comparisons and gut-wrenching emotions.

I'm relieved when I see certain people wear them because I instantly know what type of Republican they are.

There are far too many stories like this occurring. After my election, I will present my entire platform to make every Republican in Congress feel ashamed and uncomfortable to the point that they won't want to show their faces on the Hill. I won't stop until we put an end to this madness.
