No corporation should be allowed to profit from caging people with our tax dollars. It’s time to cut any funding for this cruelty especially when our hospitals are shutting down and schools lack critical funding.

Today we met with detainees including Rodney Taylor to hear from them directly about the conditions in Stewart Detention Center. This detention center is notorious and accounts for the majority of deaths in ICE custody.

What's refreshing to me about this ad is that it just up and explains what she's asking money for in a straightforward way (field programs for canvassing and targeted ad spends), and that's felt grimly rare in a lot of the email spam that fills up inboxes these days

We have the many and can absolutely raise the money. Chip in today for a Georgia we deserve. A Georgia where we reopen hospitals, take homes back from corporate landlords, raise the minimum wage, and press pause on data centers.

This year is a once in a generation election cycle. We can not only flip our state, but also build the kind of governing coalition that puts us first.
But, we can only do it together.

But we know the most durable coalition is one that rejects militarism, racism, and poverty. Georgia has often been home to those coalitions and movements. That’s why this is a once in a generation election cycle for us. We can either let these politicians intrench themselves OR build a multifaith 2/

Yup, but they won’t stop without us showing our power. AIPAC’s state affiliates are now gearing up here in Georgia. They’ve taken state legislators on propaganda trips, are growing a state level pac, and recently introduced a bill in the House to rename the West Bank “Judea and Samaria.” 1/

I hope Dems begin to see that moderate or progressive, AIPAC is not our friend.

They endorse January 6th insurrectionists. Yet if you so much as suggest the US uphold its own Leahy laws, no matter your record, they will work against you.

There is so much we can do in this moment which is why I cosponsored HB470 that bans ICE from schools, hospitals, and houses of worship.
Now we need you.
Reach out to the chair of Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee and ask for this bill get a hearing.
