A few teens yesterday said to me “wait you own ALL of these?” Yes I said proudly “So you make big sculptures?” “Nope, I run businesses” Sad & depressing but then I see Barclay finishing up this #bigpot from Friday class. And that smile is what I do. My sculptures will wait.

I don't usually post unfinished things, but I am so proud of this pot that I put together today. On Friday I threw the bottom piece from 4 lbs, the middle from 3, and the top from 2. Today I assembled them, slowly and carefully! #pottery #ceramics #amphora (to be) made at @mudclaystudio.bsky.social
