Portland (especially PBOT) is getting into a bad habit of undoing projects that are intended to improve safety for bikes and pedestrians because a handful of people in cars can’t handle even the most minor inconveniences.

What a joke. Recently took a trip to Tacoma on the train. No stress. Rode my bike to the train, rode to Tacoma, rode my bike to my friends house, rinse and repeat going back. Got to take a nap going up, had a beer going home and kicked my feet up. This could be everywhere and reliable, but alas….

I personally use my Cintiq. You have to remap the stylus to have a middle mouse and right click but otherwise there isn’t much difference, if you’re comfortable doing non drawing things with the Cintiq. There have also been some QOL fixes for stylus users in the latest release.

Pretty much the same situation in Portland, too. Practically zero enforcement of anything car related.

It really boils down to politicians willing to take the heat, though, doesn’t it? Until recently nobody on city council would be willing to stand up for anything but the PBA. Maybe now there is a chance for progress. I hope anyway.
