I think it is probably a bad idea to put clearly unhinged, angry psychopaths in federal law enforcement positions.

Better yet, people I personally knew. I’ve tried and attempted to get through to some of these people but it’s easier to just cut the hydra off from the head than continue down the path of most resistance.

It’s crazy how many people I personally know have come out in support of things the administration have done or said. I really think the brainwashing propaganda spread on social media has led these folks to feel emboldened by some sort of deep seeded racism or anyone who doesn’t look like them

My current favorite invasion of privacy hobby is trying to figure out what album people are listening to on their CarPlay displays when I drive by them in traffic.

Why did it take me 8 years to finally try Factorio, I apparently added it to my Steam library in 2017. What a fantastic way to kill time.

The biggest qualify of life so far for me has been getting Tailscale setup with one of my pi-hole instances to use it as an Exit node on my cell phone to effectively route all of my phone traffic through my home network for better privacy and client level blocking of ads/tracking cookies.

The only bits and pieces I knew were things I had picked up following tutorials getting small things running on my NAS server in the container manager for Docker and eventually Portainer but now I just use docker compose and virtualize all of my containers through a proxmox cluster. I’ve got 5 nodes

I thought I replied earlier so apologies if it came through twice but yeah, I installed Debian with Gnome on an old computer and tinkered around with it enough and I got the bug to get a mini pc nuc build, went proxmox bare and then wiped a drive on my main pc to run Bazzite, it’s been fun to learn.

I’m alright with this. I’ve since switched off of using Apple Music but I certainly did listen to La Dispute quite a bit this year. Clipse was up there with the release of Let God Sort Em Out though, and Deafheaven’s latest release was a great return.

One week since I switched my gaming PC over to Linux and I haven’t missed Windows once.

Crazy how all these corpos push out these incredibly invasive changes and just hope no one notices. Switching to a self hosted domain and Proton was so worth in my experience and I would suggest it for anyone who is capable or able to. The sheer amount of Flock cameras already put up in my developing neighborhood is incredibly alarming. Pay attention, if they can’t traffic in humans they want to traffic in your private data.
