12.02.2026 12:58 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The memories of PCI sound cards in the end of the 90's was OK with the latest win based games but very hit & mostly a miss with dos games.
So I stuck with Creative Labs sound cards!
So many customers comping in asking to fix systems & ending up selling a Creative Labs card!
Angled product photo of the Adafruit TMF8806 VCSEL dToF Breakout board. The green PCB features the TMF8806 time-of-flight sensor (center, labeled U2) with its purple-tinted optical window, a voltage regulator (U3), and a small MOSFET for level shifting (Q3). Two white STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors sit on the left and right edges for solderless I2C daisy-chaining. Seven breakout pins along the bottom are labeled VIN, GND, SCL, SDA, INT, and EN. Four mounting holes sit at the corners. White silkscreen at the top reads "TMF8806 VCSEL dToF" with additional labels G0, G1, CONN3, and CONN4. A small red power LED (D1) is visible near the bottom right. Board includes standard passives: resistors R3 and R7, capacitors C1, C4, and C5.

Hydra Commodore network
Commodore networking!
Anyone else networked / interlinked Commodore computers to a single drive?
I did back in the 80s using two methods one was my own using linking the IEC port & other was Hydra.
Hydra was a full networking while my version required users not to make requests at the same time!
I remember installing software onto email servers like exchange to convert emails to TXT before wap.
Who remembers using Wap?

Close-up photo of an Adafruit PMW3901 Optical Flow Sensor breakout board on a colorful workbench surface. The green PCB features the PMW3901 sensor with integrated lens in the center, a second IC labeled U2, passive components, and a row of eight labeled pins along the bottom edge: VIN, GND, SCLK, MISO, MOSI, CS, INT, RST. The Adafruit flower logo and "PMW3901 Optical Motion" text are silkscreened in white across the top.
New product coming soon! Adafruit PMW3901 Optical Flow Sensor breakout... tracks surface movement like an optical mouse, but built for drones and robots. SPI interface, onboard voltage regulation and level shifting for 3-5V. What will you build? ๐๏ธ adafruit.com/new

We need fairer funding for Cornwall!
Personally I would sit tight as it is a bubble!
Usually a sign of a bear market on the way is investments in Gold & Silver leading to a market readjustment to this over heated market!
Not just RAM but GPU as well as my 2023 RTX4060Ti is around what I paid for it or MORE!
I cannot remember it as bad, yes we had shortages but nothing like this ideocracy!
Bad news I have DDR4-3200 2x32GB & that has doubled what I paid!
Never had 2 1/2yr old computer stay the same price!
With IBM having a chip fab they innovated!
Another IBM sound DSP for speech processing.
The biggest issue was they sunk everything in OS/2 & MCA but arrogance with charging too much.
MWAVE cards idea was too early like other cards with heavy system reliance let you down while others added ARM chips

That's not what I call wire wrapping!
This is wire wrapping!
One I did earlier!
The last company I joined was so surprised I could wrap!
I know your pain as corruption held Europe back, where corruption in USA accelerated it, so how does that work?
