SB 1782 – HB 1712 was introduced by two representatives from Williamson County, Senator Jack Johnson and Representative Lee Reeves. The amended bill would allow local governments to ban class 1 and class 2 e-bikes and does ban class 3 unless a local government specifically allows them.

Smoothing turn movements often benefits car flow often is benefited. 3 lanes also gives space for pedestrian refuges to cross reducing exposure distances for walking, which is intensely dangerous on 4 lanes shown with a crosswalk. Bonus you have extra space left over for bike infra on the outside.

3 lanes (two travel lanes and a center turn lane) is the no-brainer upgrade in an urban context. The turn lane significantly reduces the sudden traffic backups in the left lane (rear end crashes), weaving movements around those backups (sideswipes) and crashes from people turning onto the road.

Correct. Taxes will be passed on directly in triple net or indirectly through increasing rent in other contract terms on renewal. One way or another, landlord is not paying property taxes.
