I was with Chuck and Dianne. Most of the buses were letting people off a block or two from the stadium. We insisted he let us off right in front. It was fun.

We hijacked a bus back in '96 at the Atlanta Olympics. After waiting for an hour with no buses arriving for our venue (Baseball game), the crowd that had gathered went up to a driver and told him to take us to the stadium. He finally agreed and we all got on. We had to tell him how to get there.

Sorry to hear that-bad time of year to be under the weather. I got 3 vaccines just last week and had my flu shot a month ago. So I'm taking precautions but you never know what strain you may encounter. Especially as much as you are out and about. Feel Better!!

Back in the early '80s we played D&D and when it was my brother in law's turn-He created a scenario where our quest was to capture the Atlanta Child Murderer. The locations were Underground Atlanta and the sewers beneath the city. We never found him, but it was my most memorable D&D quest.

One of my favorite Noir films with a great cast. Love Lucille Ball in this one. And the dialogue is salted with baseball references.

Back in the '80's a local cinema was showing "House of Wax" in 3D. They handed out the 3D glasses and it was quite impressive on the big screen. It really looked like that ball was coming right at you in the bolo paddle scene. I wish they would show the 3D version on TCM. I have my3D glasses ready.

Too bad. I love wearing it for Halloween. The basketball net is shaped like a skull. And I saw a thing on the news about a 96 Olympics Apparel shop where they were going for $250. A real keeper.

For Halloween I recommend "Matinee". John Goodman in a highly underrated film about a William Castle type filmmaker. The movie within the movie is "Mant" with an appearance by William Schallert. Great cast. Jesse White in his final role.

If America had a Mom, she would probably be June Lockhart. Lockhart grew from child player to ingenue in supporting roles in "A" pictures and leads in "B" movies.

We remember the actress who passed away over the weekend. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.
