The TBHX subreddit’s reaction to shipping Ah Sheng X Ghostblade is funny. It’s obvious some people have never been in a shipping fandom. And the rest are just happily cheering the ship on. I’m pleasantly surprised by the positive reactions!

Spy x Family: A large but pretty chill fandom. There is far, far too much focus on shipping. Twiyor is a good ship but a bit basic. I find the manga's commentary on war, lies, human connection, and family to be much more interesting. Overall, a great fandom but not entirely to my tastes.

Link Click: The sweetest fandom you will ever encounter. The fans are so supportive of each other. Maybe it's trauma bonding... I do think they focus too much on shipping (there are other interesting aspects!), but it's understandable especially between seasons. Overall, a small but wonderful fandom

FE3H: I joined in 2021 after the worst discourse was over. Fans can be a bit much, but I love how thought-provoking the discussions can be. The giant essays are amazing. Edcl fanfics have the unparalleled quality. Overall, a fandom near and dear to my heart (small breaks are still good for sanity).

Pokemon (games only): Massive. No one is ever happy. Some people need to chill about children's video games. Great fan art and crafts. Discussing the new mechanics in each game is fun. Kieran discourse is baby-fied Edelgard discourse. Overall, an okay fandom but not one I can get lost in.

I feel the desperate need to expound on my opinions of the all fandoms I've spent time in, so I'm going to make a thread for this.

Ugh, I really want to get back on Twitter because some fandoms (Link Click) are so much bigger on there, but I don’t want to support the platform any more than necessary.
