Bit of a shame the blog just petered out. Totally agree about house builders and property owners choking supply to maintain prices, but there was very little analysis in the blog about the impact of DLL on newts.

Agree. I think most people have vague headlines from soccer (I know Liverpool are doing well at the moment & think Man City not so much) but that’s because it is everywhere. Away from that, people tend to be in their own sport’s bubble.

Promoting team sports is very different to promoting individuals like Matchroom do.

Funny to hear @philcaplan.bsky.social ask what on earth people outside the sport think about it. I don’t think that people outside the sport either care or think anything about it. It’s almost invisible these days. #rugbyleague

Thatcher's right-to-buy policy has decimated the UK's housing stock and has allowed private landlords to expand their property portfolios and exploit renters.

The Green Party is clear. The government should scrap right-to-buy and invest properly in genuinely affordable housing.

That’s them. It was at the playing fields I saw them. Got the train down from Wakefield where I lived at the time.
