Please @bbcradio4.bsky.social don’t parrot Tory rhetoric about their plan to set the country on “a new path” to tackle #climate change. That’s not what they’re doing. Badenoch is trashing the science & setting the country on a course to be poorer and more prone to climate disaster

Not waved a magic wand and fixed everything immediately seems to be the issue. #rugbyleague has no patience.

Watching the @toulouseolympique.bsky.social Bradford game back on YouTube. Impressive that Toulouse were without three star imports, Rennie, Peyroux & Rivett and replaced them with three French lads instead, Tropis, Laguerre & Lacans. #rugbyleague 🏉🇫🇷💙🤍

Catching up with Leigh v Catalans from last night. James Vella doesn’t mess about as the video ref. The others could learn a lot from him. Review it and crack on. #rugbyleague

Bit of a shame the blog just petered out. Totally agree about house builders and property owners choking supply to maintain prices, but there was very little analysis in the blog about the impact of DLL on newts.

It’s a really difficult one to police. The PDC need to do something to make the fans think that it’s unacceptable behaviour.

PM faces growing internal backlash over potential approval of Rosebank oilfield Labour MPs describe ‘breaking point’ in relations, calling for Keir Starmer to stand by party’s manifesto commitments

If Government were to approve #Rosebank oilfield, it would be an unforgivable act of environmental vandalism & simply can’t be squared with #climate commitments. Anyone else recall Reeves’s pledge to be first Green Chancellor? How long ago it seems now…@stopcambo.bsky.social

The two-party system is dead.

The public want fair votes. Labour members want fair votes. Even some Labour MPs want fair votes.

But the Government continue to say no. What are they afraid of?

The public have made their view clear; the two-party system of old is gone, yet our voting system is keeping it on life support against their will.

It's time for a National Commission on electoral reform, to identify and implement a voting system that ensures all votes are equal and every voice is heard.

We agree with @elliechowns.bsky.social 💯

Today MPs debate Proportional Representation. A proper national conversation about alternatives to our broken system is long overdue.

We're calling for a National Commission for Electoral Reform to design a voting system that's fit for the 21st century.

Agree. I think most people have vague headlines from soccer (I know Liverpool are doing well at the moment & think Man City not so much) but that’s because it is everywhere. Away from that, people tend to be in their own sport’s bubble.

Promoting team sports is very different to promoting individuals like Matchroom do.

Funny to hear @philcaplan.bsky.social ask what on earth people outside the sport think about it. I don’t think that people outside the sport either care or think anything about it. It’s almost invisible these days. #rugbyleague

RFL offer Radlinski a deal The Rugby Football League have offered Wigan full back Kris Radlinski a package it hopes will keep him in the game

About 25 years ago, the RFL gave a financial incentive to a few star players to keep them in #rugbyleague. Has there been a better investment than the one they made to keep Kris Radlinski in the sport? www.espn.com/rugby/story/...

END
RIGHT

END RIGHT TO BUY

Thatcher's right-to-buy policy has decimated the UK's housing stock and has allowed private landlords to expand their property portfolios and exploit renters.

The Green Party is clear. The government should scrap right-to-buy and invest properly in genuinely affordable housing.
