Our back lawn is mostly White Clover, with lots of Blackening Waxcap
(Hygrocybe conica) popping up. We read this is a species of agaric (gilled mushroom) & all parts of the basidiocarp blacken with age. The new ones are orange, ageing ones have become duller, finally becoming entirely black...
