If anyone has any suggestions for kale besides vegetarian lasagna, cooking them up like collards, bean sausage and kale soup, pesto or salads, my ears are open. Freezer safe recipes preferred.

I'm doing "alternate Thanksgiving" for a few people tomorrow.

We are having chicken thighs seasoned with sazon, gochujang shrimp and fish cakes I made with chilis I grew and Basa fish.

My actual initial post was a little more general. Weverse was part of it, but also the weirdo American right wingers who are afraid of Bad Bunny, or on a more personal level, my friend who won't listen to anything not in English.

I am dehydrating tangerines for winter tea.

I got 12 lb of Parsnips from a plant bed i basically threw seeds in, never thinned, never weeded, let giant purple amaranth run rampant with, barely watered during a drought.

Now I know why these were a very important crop historically.

It's "thanksgiving" here in Canada this weekend. To celebrate i'm harvesting all my frost tolerant crops because I have time right now.

Seems fitting.
