OxCaml | SIMD | Intro
OxCaml SIMD primitives are looking really nice 👀
> [unboxed vector values] are passed between functions in XMM registers, stored in structures as flat data, …
> Within a function, all SIMD vectors live in floating-point registers or 16-byte aligned stack slots.

React is not a library, it's a language
- JSX: the syntax
- hooks: the runtime
- use client/use server: the module system
- suspense: concurrency model
- react dom/react native: a platform (where it runs)
- server actions: built-in RPC
To me, next.js? an implementation of React

A screenshot of a question from one of my Theory of Computing assignments. The question reads:
"The Twitter account @happyautomata (https://twitter.com/happyautomata) automatically generates examples of finite automata over both the English alphabet and the "emoji alphabet". An example of an "emoji automaton" is shown below:
[figure of automaton]
Visit the Twitter account, choose your favourite "emoji automaton" with at least three states, and convert the finite automaton to an equivalent regular expression. Show all your work in addition to giving the regular expression.
If you don’t use Twitter, then you are welcome to use the above "emoji automaton" to form your answer.
If you don’t wish to use emoji in your regular expression (or you can’t get it to work nicely), you can convert emoji to letters; for example, [blue heart] = b, [pink heart] = p, and [white heart] = w."
I'm happy that @happyautomata.com is back up and running on this site! I can finally start to use my favourite assignment question again in my Theory of Computing course.

ok I made a starter pack specific to OCaml 🐫
it mostly includes people who work on OCaml or with OCaml, but also some people who've been engaging with OCaml or trying OCaml
