I’ve committed to vote for platform promises and confidence matters. But there’s still lots of room to disagree both by voting and in advocacy (both of which I try my best to do on the evidence). Funny to think that I’m the PR firm for the party tho, don’t think my colleagues would agree!

A little self-reflection never hurt anyone Honesty and authenticity remain essential and we can’t shy away from sharing ideas simply because they might be taken out of context by bad faith political attacks. But we can avoid making it personal...

Some thoughts on an MP’s role, and why reasonable disagreement within our parties is both good politics and policy so long as it’s focused on ideas.

More seriously, our politics is better when we make it about ideas and welcome thoughtful debate and disagreement.

MPs across party lines were united in calling out the company’s callous decision and the government has acted quickly to ensure that companies that abandon production here do not benefit from remissions to our counter tariffs.

After taking public money and with commitments to protect Canadian jobs, Stellantis is shifting production from Brampton to Illinois. Congrats to inventor and constituent Hayley Mullins and Joeyband co-founders Ashley Wade and Sarah Cox.

Making a difference helping to establish a new standard of care.

And well deserved recognition as an honourable mention in TIME’s best inventions of 2025.

On a personal note, I like to think my approach hasn’t changed over the years. I promised to bring a more principled and independent voice to the House and to work hard for the only community I’ve ever really known.

Thanks to everyone who has been a part of this wild journey over the years.
