Had a conversation with an animation studio that was telling me AI is the future. I asked how they'd make money because "if you're using the same model that's available to everyone else for free, why would they pay you to do it?"

Response: "They just will."

I can't help but think they... won't?

For whatever problems Nintendo has, I do admire their tendency to not pivot towards and away from trends.

They'll experiment but almost never go all-in on chasing something someone else is already doing.
