This is a pencil drawing I did of a periwinkle plant. Periwinkle grows abundantly in the spring and summer. The flowers are a lovely shade of blue-violet.

This is a self portrait I recently drew with graphite pencil. It is based on a self portrait I drew 40 years ago.

I made this sketch of Buddha, a symbol of wisdom, enlightenment, and letting go. I used a Blackwing 602 pencil on white drawing paper.

I drew this winter tree, representing one of the cycles of life.
Winter is a time of rest, resilience, and regeneration. A time for simplicity and contemplation.
Life has its patterns and circumstances, as each cycle gives way to a new one. Embrace the rhythms of existence.

I drew and colored this mandala with Staedtler pigment pens. The mandala is a useful tool for meditation and mindfulness. I have been fascinated with mandalas for many years. I am also captivated by color and design. Making art is great for cognitive functioning and physical coordination.
