Every San Diego local news outlet proudly talked about the Kristi Noem press conference at the border but chose to not mention the protest there.

If we’re going to have a salary cap… Need a salary floor. Cheap owners need to invest. End the “re-builds” and salary dumps. I would argue the MLB has a bigger problem with cheap owners.

I get road improvements may take time… but I would love to even simply see enforcement. SDPD doesn’t enforce any traffic laws.

He played LF for the Padres, was terrible at defense there (like worse than RF) and it was sad to watch.

Balboa Park is a civic treasure that deserves thoughtful management, and continuing to offer unlimited free parking only fuels congestion, pollution, and inequity. It’s downright pathetic that we can’t get proper bus lanes on Park, but the moment drivers complain about parking, magically city cares.

We will continue to be a second rate city until we really are serious about stepping up transit.

Exactly, not even a “small market” team. They really should be spending, like other big market teams.

Unimaginable evil. The driver just knocked the child over at first, but then killed him in an attempt to flee the scene.

This is not an isolated incident. Violent drivers in PB intentionally destroyed traffic calming devices on Diamond st, a school street.

Petco Park sells out almost every home game. They have a really nice and very well up kept stadium that they are always remodeling/improving. The stadium legit still looks brand new in many areas.

What about the out of control cars? Can we restrict car speed?
