I remember how unsafe it was trying to ride a bike to Balboa Park prior to adding the protected bike lanes along Park Blvd through Balboa Park. If it was up to the museums, those bike lanes would never have happened.

But aren't most of the announced layoffs for jobs that have nothing to do with immigrants? Also, I can't imagine locking up legal citizens for weeks or months in concentration camps is good for business.

For those in San Diego that insist on never paying anything anywhere to store their private vehicles, especially in Balboa Park, the 235 this morning at 6:20 AM is very much not empty.

I really wonder how many of the people complaining the most about paid parking are paying money to visit the museums. For whatever reason, at least on weekends, the lots with the most expensive parking are still full.

Why will MTS never fight for its riders? It doesn't do anything about cars blocking bus stops or bus lanes and was conspicuously silent when the city removed a bus lane on northbound Park Blvd used by the 7 and 215, two routes with frequent service and higher ridership.

MTS 235 running 10+ minutes late.

This particular run of the 235 is back to running consistently 10+ minutes late every weekday evening. Fortunately I'm only using it to get to work, not something that's time-sensitive or anything.

San Diego won't pay for the cost to add and remove bollards on 5th through the Gaslamp, even though closure of 5th to cars was better for business. Cars are not better for business, even in San Diego.

Seven transit lines serve Balboa Park. As the city rolls out paid parking, why isn’t MTS promoting them? Transit advocates say it’s ‘a unique opportunity for the city of San Diego and MTS to actively promote and invest in alternatives’ to driving.

The responses by the city and MTS were pretty unacceptable. The city seems bent on undermining bus service through the park by having a discontinuous bus lane southbound and removing the northbound bus lane where it was most needed.
