im like 85% self taught in sewing, with only instruction given to me by my grandma when i was like. 10. and a single summer school class on how to use a sewing machine. so when i ponder trying to put out patterns for plushies i fear giving other people my "bad habits" when it comes to sewing

ive done it every year since we moved into this house, so im pretty much used to doing it and can finish all 5 gutters in about an hour. it was a little easier this year because we got the tree in our front yard removed like last month because it kept getting struck by lightning

just finished cleaning out the gutters, which is solely my household chore because im the only person in the house not afraid to get up on a ladder

sniffing is not enough for my cat, if she sees me put it in my mouth she wants it in hers like automatically lmao

Two things can be true: 1.) The Game Awards are meaningless and we shouldn't take them all that seriously. 2.) Award shows of its scale DO rewrite the mainstream history of the art form, whether they deserve to or not, and its okay to care that it's so thoughtless despite having that responsibility.

same to be said of moon: Remix RPG Adventure, you need to play that game. stray children has the benefit of seeing almost 30 years of games happen in between it and moon, however it stays true to that unyielding onion games style that needs to be experienced.

stray children is a game that is difficult to recommend. but you do need to play it. because it is a very good game.

my toxic trait is that every week i get obsessed with german renaissance artists that you've either never heard of or don't care about

i wouldn't even say i have an unsteady hand, but trying to do lineart in a space that has no stabilization/smoothness correction really shows how unsteady my hand actually is lmao. i should maybe work on that

and because i remembered to turn it on, here's the timelapse (i usually do my sketches outside of the program i finish pieces in, hence why i am usually just starting with the lineart when these videos start)

hot take? a lot of liberals are simply disgusted by queerness. a lot of queer expression is found in porn and kink. they're not going to admit how much the thought of queer sex, identity, or expression bother them but they're happy to be passive fascists and do nothing while porn is attacked.

tonight i saw it for a third time and man. the quality and depth of artistry has not diminished upon further views. im so glad i went to see it multiple times.

everyone is discrediting this for why does "realism" matter for james bond. my take is horowitz is an idiot why the fuck would anyone listen to anything he says, much less read what he writes.
