Found some bugs in a rotted piece of wood today, huge win for me. Dunno what they are but they remind me of mealworms

Found a carrion beetle today! He wasn't really interested in staying still so these were the only clear shots i got. Most of the ones here have yellow, not red, this is called a margined carrion beetle. They do pretty much the same thing

Day 1

Middle stage, the roots really started taking off and i moved it into a bigger jar. He ate water up like crazy too at this stage

Finally today i had time to pot it, hopefully it does well

Heres a progression of a random onion that i noticed had sprouted a few weeks ago, so i put it in water and yeah it did things.

Ive never grown onions before and i dont even like eating them
