I think her experiences with plants are chiefly involving African violets, so she thinks plants are always overwatered or have too much sun. Like she keeps trying to put her bluebeard in the shade despite instructions saying "full sun".

I thought my mexican heather plant was gonna die a horrible death, but it looks like it's trying to grow back. My grandma kept complaining I was overwatering it, but I was actually underwatering it lol.

Oh and naturally I'm gonna plant some California poppies amongst all of this. Imagine having a lawn instead... couldn't be me.

Most of our basement problems will be solved once my grandma admits she's never gonna use the treadmill or bowflex again and that we should just toss it.
