I saw Superman. It’s fun and has a great cast and you should definitely see it, but some of it didn’t land for me.

I’m excited for the Gunn DC era - if this is where they’re headed, it’s going to be infinitely better than the last regime.

Got a ticket for this today purely on your review (having never seen a Sonic movie) and it did not disappoint! Some great 90s kids/parent humor and Jim Carrey is surprisingly amazing!

It’s the limited 70mm imax experience combined with it being a cult Nolan movie - similar to Oppenheimer it’s a “have to be there” experience and there’s only 19 theaters in the country that can show it like that. Here in SF, the Metreon’s showings have been completely sold out for weeks.

Dune prophecy cinema screen and logo

I saw the first episode of Dune: Prophecy and thought it was mid. The first half failed to grab me with uneven pacing and bland characters, but it found some intrigue by the end! I’ll sign up to watch more, but temper your expectations given the sheer majesty and epic nature of the films/novels.

Yeah just that simple act makes a world of a difference - I swapped my homepage placement with this and the other app is just out of sight out of mind!
